Supports the success of an assigned team including account sales, marketing teams etc. in specific to the product lines assigned.
Responsibility at the appropriate degrees in taking ownership of the assigned product line from the market performance point of view.
Participatory involvement in meeting the assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines across the territories assigned.
Maintain leads & prospect file relevant to the product lines / segment or market segment
Identifying and screening, leads & prospects emanating out of various sources and entities, aligned with marketing teams.
Proactively follow up on the market data gathered and prospects to bring about tangible results.
Coordinate with product management and development unit head in the relevant developing products, to give a technical perspective from the market point of view.
Update constantly on the developments and awareness with regard to the product lines served and also abreast of the developments of market segment under which the product lines framed in.
Reformulation of ongoing developments of product lines in view of competitiveness in cost, applications at customer end and customer satisfaction.
Involvement in the product qualification (sample trials) at prospect / customer’s end and align and ensure optimal applications.
Ensuring defect free product presentation to customers and comprehensive inputs in solving product complaints proactively.
Key inputs with regard to the competitive elements vs. the specific product performance in the market.
