Design Team Leader Engineer

1-Sets priorities, assigns work, makes sure operations are on-time and within budget and completed performance reviews.
2-Responsible for managing major projects and providing troubleshooting skills for system problems.
3- Collect and Study all data related to a given task/project with the Project Manager (PM).
4- Agree with the PM and the team members (junior engineers) on the task/project time schedule.
5- Give awareness to the team members with the project requirements.
6- Prepare and Issue to PM RFIs as necessary immediately after receiving the task/project.
7- Define and Setup: computer model, design methodology, design criteria, drawing methodology (title block, layers, numbering system, level of details, etc…), calculation report template, and BOQ template.
8- Prepare, Certify and Issue to the PM: Design Criteria, Technical Specifications and Method of Measurements.
9- Review, Approve, Certify and Issue in due time to the PM the design documents (computer model, calculation report, BOQ and drawings) in accordance with the project requirements, specifications, design criteria and time schedule.
10-Follow up and Provide technical support as necessary to the team members to ensure the issuance of design documents in the due time and in accordance with the project requirements and schedule.
11- Distribute work load among team members.
12- Review and Analyze the quantities outcomes to ensure the value engineering satisfaction.
13- Assess the KPI of the team members.
14- Prepare periodical evaluation/progress report for team activities as necessary.
