ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Service existing accounts.
• Obtain sales orders.
• Follow scheduled periodic visits to customers.
• Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule.
• Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
• Collect and follow up orders
• Inform line manager by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Evaluate results and competitive developments by keeping up to date with products and competitors.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Provide customers with catalogues, price lists and all required products materials and printouts.
• Compile local sales figures.
• Analyze local sales trends.
• Collect customer feedback.
• Keeping track of customers' information and updates.
• Forecasting future trends in customers' needs/behavior.
• Following local sales leads.
