Our Loss Prevention team works across all divisions, brands and geographies, to protect the assets and profit of the business and mitigate the risk of loss. Working pro-actively, following lines of investigation as well as providing insight and recommendations to divisions, our Loss Prevention team works across all brands and regions giving them valuable exposure to a range of sectors and environments that ultimately deliver bottom line profit to the business.
The Role:
The Cycle Count Assistant is responsible for conducting the Plan Based and Activity driven Cycle Counts within the retail distribution centre. In addition, you will also assist the Cycle Count Team Leader in conducting post count investigations.
The specific types of investigations to be conducted are as follows:
* Perpetual Inventory/Planned Cycle Count - Conducted in line with the plan and as directed by the team leader. You will ensure accuracy and complete the required activity within the shift cycle, making sure all discrepancies are logged and investigated before reconciliation is made
* Activity-driven cycle counts - Deriving data from the short pick daily report, you will report your findings in a timely and accurate fashion
* Stock discrepancies - This will involve conducting physical checks of locations, including both manual and scanned counts of stock.
Qualifications & Requirements:
You will have/be:
* A High School/Secondary-level education
* Experience of working within a warehouse or distribution centre and knowledge of warehousing routines
* Good spoken and written English communication skills
* PC Literate.
