The primary role of the Business Development Specialist is to prospect for new clients and donors by networking, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must then plan persuasive approaches that will convince potential clients and donors to cooperate with the organization. The main duties for this job include organizing activities to market services offered and projects made by the organization, raise funds and design and produce promotional materials to raise awareness of the organization's work, goals, and financial needs.
