Social Media Strategist (Content Creator)
About the Job
The Social Media Strategist is responsible for creating clients’ and company’s Social Media Strategy across different brands and platforms. The position involves ensuring our social broadcasting is fully integrated with all other efforts across the Company’s portfolio.
Main Duties:
• Guiding our clients through the opportunities presented by social media
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic across all Media & More brands and products.
• Pitching stories to key online influencers (such as bloggers, news editors, fan-site editors)
• Participating in conversations on third-party social media sites (including forums, public walls, social network pages/groups, blog and news site comment fields)
• Lead the development of organization-wide social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social media
• Define key performance indicators and implement enterprise level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success
• Mentor and provide training to communication and management professionals throughout the organization on best practices for creating, managing, monitoring, and developing content for social networks
• Work with all Media & More brands to explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns
• Apply marketing research and development methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies and to communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely
• Monitor and comment on trends in social media trends and application, acting as company spokesperson within the Social Media industry
• Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments
• Handling and managing our in-house online projects as a community manager
