Account Manager

• Making appointments to meet new and existing customers
• Recommend interior design to the client
• introduce our products to the client
• Researching the market and related products;
• Following up your competitors and the products they are offering
• Presenting the product in a structured professional way face-to-face.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
• Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets;
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing the deal;
• Gathering market and customer information;
• Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
• Negotiating on price, costs, delivery, specifications & payments with buyers and managers;
• Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
• Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer;
• Checking the quantities of goods on display and in stock;
• Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
