Your mission
As an Civil Project Manager you will be responsible for (this list is non-exhaustive) :
Project Operations duties
- Forecasting resources required for future projects
- Allocating site operatives, equipment and materials for all projects
- Supervising and assisting the Construction Manager in his duties
- Managing the interface with the clients and resolving conflicts, if any
- Solving any major technical problems during the project execution
- Controlling site expenses
- Conducting regular reporting meeting
- Identifying training needs for site operatives
- Interacting with other departments when required
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment duties
- Enforcing the QHSE rules and standards
- Cooperating with others in the company to fulfill its statutory duties with respect to the QSHE protection
- Using the Personal Protection Equipment at all time when required
- Contributing any suggestion that may assit in the effort to prevent accidents, injuries or pollution
- Producing all necessary records, as required by the management system and strictly follow all procedures for the management system
- Reporting all accident, incident and near misses to your immediate supervisor or directly to the QHSE Department
Commercial duties
- Collecting all the necessary information related to the market in terms of new developtment, new awarded contracts, etc..
- Establishing contact with clients, present all the company activities and probing the company capabilities
- Arranging meetings for the company Managers
- Identifying contractors dealing with the different clients
- Identifying the competitors and the decision makers
- Collect all the necessary project details and transferring to the Commercial Team for pricing
- Finalizing offers with the Business Unit Manager
- Submitting the offer to the contractor and following up with the decision makers
- Dealing with the contractor for final negotiation in coordination with the Commercial Manager
- Finalizing the contractual terms and submitting to the regional office for final approval before signature of the contract
- Ensuring the transfer to the operational team
- Assisting the Construction Managers when required
- Following up payments
