Job Purpose Statement: The role of Group Treasurer is based in Cairo HQ and reports to the CFO. The post holder will play a vital role in improving and maintaining the financial standing of the company. They are responsible for:
• Devising and implementing financial strategy and policy;
• Advising on investment opportunities;
• Arranging appropriate funding;
• Managing financial risks in the organization
Key Accountabilities:
• Capital markets and funding;
• Commodity markets monitoring and trading;
• Cash and liquidity management;
• Corporate financial management;
• Financial risk management;
• Treasury operations and controls.
Communications And Working Relationships:
The role requires significant interaction with the Group’s Executive team and Board. The ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-finance audiences is therefore essential, as is the ability to understand technical detail to allow effective multi-disciplinary working with technical teams.
