JOB PURPOSE
The export and sales coordinator is responsible for the whole process flow with new and existing customers. He/she will generate new sales opportunities, import and export business and will manage the full export/import operations.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Manage the existing portfolio of export accounts
· Generate new sales opportunities
· Generatenew export and import business
· Manage the full export operation Sales, logistics & Documentation
· Ensure smooth and timely export process flow
· Meet KPI standards in accordance with the company procedure.
· Must be knowledgeable about the target market requirements regarding the food safety and quarantine rules and import documents needed for each market separately.
· Maintain good relationships with the shipping lines and negotiate optimal rates and payment terms
· Follow-up with the Pack house Operations team closely to align production to the targets set by Capespan and/or the customers
· Visit the pack houses weekly to look after the packing operations/ generate orders
· Develop first steps of our planned move into
Import fruit.
