Heads shift and ensures that his shift fire crew and equipment are maintained in a high state of readiness to deal with an emergency. Trains and conducts drills for all Company's fire personnel. Ensures adequate stocks of relevant materials and equipment are maintained. Directs and controls activities of all fire crews at scene of emergency until relieved by next senior in line. Controls personnel and administration of fire section for his shift. Carries out periodic inspection/survey of fire protection and fighting equipment in the Company's sites.
