- Create wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs, and prototypes to communicate designs to the rest of the team and customers, and iterate in low fidelity to arrive at the best possible design.
- Work with Back-End developers and Web Designers to implement flexible, maintainable, reusable and professional UI components.
- Design the layout and mockups and Convert them to HTML valid, Tables CSS-based, and responsive layouts.
- Build custom JavaScript-based UI components.
- Evaluate UI and JavaScript libraries.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Experience with developing using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery & JavaScript, AJAX.
- Experience with Responsive design (bootstrap or similar).
- In depth knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve them.
- Strong design skills including screen layouts, final production art, UI flow modeling, information design, typography, color, composition, and UI specifications.
- Experience working in an agile environment and with rapid prototyping.
- Apply SEO best practices is a plus.
- Work with marketing and development staff on style and approach for all projects.
- Solve a complex interaction design problem around reporting large amounts of data.
- Understanding of WordPress and other CMS platforms
- Takes ownership and acts as project manager for all website-related projects. Communicates progress regularly to all project stakeholders.
- Performs a wide variety of related tasks as business needs demand, and other duties as assigned
