1- About SEDA
SEDA is a Non-profit Association, developed in coordination with the GIZ Private Sector Development Program for the promotion of solar energy in Egypt
SEDA serves as a “Platform” representing ALL Solar Industry stakeholders under ONE ROOF (private sector traders and manufacturers, academics, government institutions, customers, NGO’s, development agencies, international energy associations, etc.
SEDA’s mandate is to actively engage in researching, developing, and promoting national programs and mechanisms with economic, environmental, and social benefits for the country as a whole
2- Job Responsibilities
Implementing SEDA’s annual operating plan (legal, admin, financial, marketing, membership, auditing, HR, etc) in coordination with assigned staff and partner entities.
Implementation of SEDA’s strategic plan in coordination with Board Members
Oversee and manage the implementation of internal capacity building programs launched by SEDA Board Members for strengthening SEDA’s operational capabilities (communications, regulations, procedures, operational capacity, etc)
Representing SEDA vis-a-vis our strategic partners and allies (governmental, private, donors, and NGO‘s) and manage, on behalf of SEDA, the execution of SEDA’s national sector specific programs and market development mechanism’s (such as for the Tourism sector, industrial sector, and residential sector)
Further develop strategic alliances and partnerships with the local and international entities and individuals in the fields of solar energy with respect to financial and technical support, capacity building, energy information and communication, training and development, etc
