Position Summary
The Global Networking Solution (GNS) Implementation Consultant is a vital Implementation position within Services Implementation team. The Implementation Consultant is responsible for the Implementation and project management of Networking Projects in Egypt and outside Egypt for NCR.
As an Implementation consultant he needs to work closely with the Networking Sales Team to succeed in their selling efforts as Pre Sales consultant as well throughout their customer accounts.
The incumbent holding this position is expected to manage all Networking Projects and to deliver successful results in the territory while acting in the best interest of the NCR Corporation at large. This means continually growing the successful projects and growing revenue, while solidify, elevate and nurture relationships within key customer accounts and all members of support groups internal to NCR.
The incumbent may lead major Projects and complex solution integrations efforts by matching customer business objectives with Industry leading best practices, positioning how NCR’s business solutions will help solve business problems, developing and executing winning strategies. In addition, the incumbent will be managing the Project P&L as well, accurately forecast business results, provide strong leadership in Implementation engagements, and provide feedback to senior Program management.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The GNS Implementation Consultant will be responsible for:
• Be able to interact and understand customer technical solutions requirements like offering the best possible solutions on Cisco networking Technology Solutions (R/S, Cloud computing, Security, Wireless, Unified Communications, and Data Center focused)
• Keep up to date on cutting edge Networking Routing, Switching and VOIP technologies and solutions, specially in Unified Communications and Data Centre.
• Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
• Design the solution and its BOQ along with the Pre-Implementation consultants.
• Provide leadership in system hardware/software specifications, Data Centre, network infrastructure, wireless, security and voice designs.
• Share knowledge with colleagues to raise team's collective expertise. Maintain high quality Vendor relationship with all partners like Cisco, Juniper, Avaya, EMC, Dell and Genesis
Perform ITIL and PMO practices while implementing the projects.
