The Customs Specialist responsibility is to ensure effective running and development of import / export activities and establish strong relationship with the different customs authorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and ensure the accurate customs clearance of established set up, procedure for Incoming Import flow. (Finish goods, Spares and Accessories)
- Keep the operational contacts with customs brokers and coordinate it with factory distribution center & regional distribution center.
- Maintain documentation flows (Import declarations, Invoice, Customs documents) to ensure Accounting, Tax Law requirements.
- Prepare Shipping certification documents for Export deliveries in coordination with Local Trade Chamberrequirements.
- Fulfill customs clearance in case of Import/Export samples POS materials, courier deliveries.
- Keep records and control Electrolux account related to customs authorities’ audit.
- Coordinate with Payables team the smooth payment for our service provider
- Coordinate Customs procedure according to trade Finance requirements related to Egyptian central bank requirements
- Coordinate with supply chain and trade finance teams to ensure receiving the needed documents and avoiding paying any demurrage fees.
