Responsibilities Include:
- Management of international vendors affairs including sourcing vendors from Europe and Far East, price negotiation, product development, freight negotiation, minimums and payment terms
- Management of product quality including testing, product complaints/defects and overall compliance with the applicable laws and standards
- Management of all sourcing and supply chain
- Management of freight activities including sourcing for the best freight options in terms of price, service and dealing with freight forwarders worldwide
- Keep current on industry-wide pricing trends, technological innovations, and overall market conditions through research and effective supplier interaction
