-Review daily production jobs/batches, check accuracy, use of STD materials Qty in comparison to actual used, determine variance and investigate it with appropriate plant/technical parties.
-Maintain accurate, complete, updated and verified BOM (ongoing verification/updating in collaboration with QC Dep.)
-Measure accuracy of materials movement between production and inventory departments (examine safeguarding of Inventory).
-Conduct monthly end closing tasks (allocating L/C charges to imported RM, reviewing period Mfg. exps (O/H) for all production department, clear and allocate over/under applier amounts to FG products.
-Keep an eye on predetermine O/H rates for all assembly items by periodic develop of rates matching them with actual O/H costs.
-Investigate abnormal waste & damage causes, follow up write off process, work with appropriate parties to minimize waste, scrap & damage.
-Continuously check purchasing prices, determine the effect of price fluctuation on product cost.
-Analyze cost, profitability for new launches, designs and recipes, determine break-even point (marginal analysis).
-Participate in the annual budget building process.
