Learning & Development Officer

Reports to: Head of Learning & Development Operations

Department: Learning & Development Department - Human Resources

Job Purpose
To coordinate all L&D activities: in-house programs, Local programs, Overseas Programs and Post Graduate studies in terms of implementation, facilitation and day-to-day operations to ensure the efficiency & effectiveness of the programs in alignment with the approved training plan maintaining the set standards.

Job Description
Training Administration
1.Coordinate the training calendar logistics; in terms of scheduling in-house training rounds, ensuring fair opportunities for CIB Delegates in line with the selection criteria set for each program, and to timely ensure processing cases of local and overseas programs against the required approvals, budget, and the regulating rules and check list/s
2.Assist in collating and analyzing relative L & D relative Evaluation forms and reporting the positive and negative comments to work on improving the quality of the programs.
3.Coordinate with the finance department to ensure smooth and prompt training invoices payment accommodation and pocket money of the attendees.
4.Coordinate with the corporate services department to ensure necessary airlines and accommodation booking.
5.Maintain proper filling of work documents to ensure updating the training staff profiles on Oracle records.
6.Facilitate, coordinate and conduct training courses to support the effective implementation of set training plans.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
7.Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day-to-day management
8.Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the L& D Department to ensure continuity of work
Compliance
9.Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
