Determine the fundamental direction of the design, lead the entire design team and design process continuously, from the first step in the design phase (schematic design) throughout the execution until completion.
•Integral part of the construction team, works closely with the Project Executive/Manager and plays a decisive leadership role
•Communicate effectively between Designers, the Construction team and client representatives.
•Secure that design in all phases meets contractual obligations in every way through the review and approval of all construction and shop drawings generated by the design partners and subcontractors.
•Management of the timely delivery of all design documents.
•Generate and coordinate the relevant subcontractor contractual language relating to design.
•Initiate design reviews and leverage opportunities to optimize design or to detect risks.
