About Your Job:

In the role you will generate maximum cargo sales in order to meet or exceed the set revenue/tonnage target for stations and to provide customer service in sales and operational areas liaising with customers, ground handling agents at stations. 

Key Accountabilities : 
* Answer customer email and answer telephone calls.
* Assist customer/clients with all information's related to booking/forwarding/delivery, liaising with local GHA and with the head office cargo department to ensure/enhance a satisfactory service provided by QR.
* Distribute QR promotional items, circular, memos and announcements to the agents/freight forwarders to provide information on QR products and services.
* Arrange and deliver necessary cargo stationeries, forms and labels to GHA to have sooth handling and comply with regulations.
* Maintain a close coordination between QR space control and customers  by ensuring their shipments are transferred, delivered on time, correct priority given to shipments and for maximum utilization given to space on the a/c.
* Investigate any booking non conformances and report finding/actions to cargo sales managers and regional cargo managers.
* Track and trace customer shipments when missing/delayed for specific customer /projects.
* Maximize flights via cross feed to other cities that have space when local flights are full.
* Make sales calls to agents/freight forwarders to solicit business.
* Prepare the weekly cargo forecast for a 7 day rolling period and monthly marketing report for the sales achieved at the station and hand over to manager cargo sales to capture information and to monitor and take corrective actions to achieve the sales target for the year.
* Update local bookings with new flight details in case of no show/offloads and advise agents/freight forwarders of new flight details.
* Provide inside sales support for the local cargo sales manager.
* Coordinate with customers/cargo claims supervisors at head office and forward all necessary claim documents, handle discrepancies at station and all administrative issues at the station.


About You:

You must ideally have a trade or vocational qualification with a minimum 3 years of job related experience in Airline Cargo/Air Freight Industry out of which 1 year in a similar capacity. Your MS Office Skills must be at an advanced level. You must have an excellent command of written and spoken English and currently be legally eligible to live and  work in Egypt.

Relevant experience in air freight, GSA or airline cargo sales is preferred.
