We are a privately held company based in Egypt with a sister software consultancy firm in San Diego, California. We are looking to bring on board a mid to senior level software engineer that is eager to grow within a fun professional startup environment.
The UI Front End Developer / Graphic Designer role is responsible for leading and implementing user experience and interface across software solutions. The role will collaborate heavily with out team in the US and customer-facing groups to create innovative UI approaches and continue to enhance presentation tier technologies, frameworks and patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Create and improve UIs for components to be leveraged in multiple products.
- Build responsive, mobile-optimized, tablet-optimized, and desktop-optimized web applications
- Prepare finished copy and artwork using Adobe Photoshop or other design tools and be able to effeciently convert PSD to HTML.
- Collaborate on UI design for maximum ease of use and efficiency - you’ll be a master at simplifying UIs to make our users’ lives easier and more productive
- Write efficient Javascript, HTML and CSS to scale up with load and across browsers
- Extend our Javascript frameworks and research and implement new frameworks to enhance our core capabilities and front-end architecture
- Rapidly prototype new designs internally, with Product Management and customers to create UIs that exceed customers’ expectations through thoughtful design and ease of use
