Job Overview
This position is responsible for coordinating with RDE and business marketing to ensure specification transfers in our current and future processes in a timely manner. The position will provide necessary guidance and assist with obtaining necessary data to ensure a smooth specification transfer from RDE bench to Supply Chain manufacturing. The incumbent of this position has responsibility to insure a consistent process is in place and operating. Additionally, the position serves as the primary technical and subject matter interface with research and marketing. This position will also serve in teams for special projects related to cross company manufacturing and sell, integration and internal efficiency improvement efforts.
The incumbent will act as a coordinator for the GSS-MEA team and contribute to the effectiveness and productivity of Ecolab’s RD&E, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Regulatory organizations through the accurate and efficient delivery of product specifications changes required to serve Ecolab’s business units.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinates with RDE and marketing various cross divisional & regional product requirements aligned with corporate initiatives
- Works closely with the European RD&E Teams to support projects related to product launches and the growth of business.
- For key technology introductions helps build clear set up timelines as part of the overall project launch timeline.
- Identifies and communicates all requirements pre-specification launch. At times provides guidance or leads to secure necessary information.
- Drive label process to ensure product portfolio is aligned to the Ecolab Corporate identity and considering MEA legislations
- Supports key internal process improvement activities which could include aligning with overall team goals, strategies, and tactics.
- Supports GSS-MEA leader with managing internal and external partners and suppliers
- Maintains certain databases (e.g. SAP and EPIC) and support other database development
- Provides support for process improvements.
- Participates in on-going global specification process improvement activities
- Provides expert knowledge on specification requirements
- Supports integration related specification projects
- Be the GSS liaison to multiple business units.
