An excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance professional to offer commercial support and handle all day to day financial activities for John Crane Egypt including internal controls, corporate governance and all tax and audit related issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide strong commercial support to the Egypt General Manager
* Manage the preparation of the budget and rolling forecast
* Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to the Regional Management and the Group
* Oversee daily operations of the finance department
* Manage the preparation of the statutory annual report and the Annual General Assembly Meeting in compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
* Prepare the financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions
* Regular review of local company policies, ensuring conformity with local governance requirements and Group policies
* Ensure the strict implementation of adequate internal controls
* Manage relationships with external stakeholders, banks, tax and legal advisors and customers etc - as required by the business
Required Skills and Experience:
* Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or similar
* 2+ years experience within a senior Finance role
* Professional certifications in CPA, CMA, CFA, CIMA, or ACCA
* Good understanding of accounting principles and local regulatory requirements
* Strong experience of managing internal control, group reporting and preparing month end reports
* Experience of managing a small finance team
* Solid experience of using an ERP system (SAP preferred)
* Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
