Financial Accounting & Control Services
• Supervise the financial controller, analyst and budgeting activities - focusing on the financial accounting activities performed
• Ensure the Finance manager is provided with timely reports to enhance business decision making
• Ensure periodic financial statements are submitted on time (income statement, balance sheet, changes in financial position) and all other financial highlights deemed essential to the management are noted
• Review and approve the company’s budget targets and templates
• Analyze significant budget variances and investigate related spends with concerned department heads
• Supervise the preparation of periodic bank reconciliation statements and provided assistance when needed
• Liaise with the financial controller on the fulfillment of external auditors requests to ensure the latter’s utmost satisfaction and understanding of operations
• Coordinate budget preparation with department heads to ensure smooth delivery of assignments and objectives
• Ensure all accruals, deferrals and invoices are properly recorded
• Monitor the Financial Accounting and Control team motivation levels and individual developments
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance manager
