§ Formulate and develop THE COMPANY’s planning and design strategy to ensure the alignment of the development objectives with the overall business objectives.
§ Establish the business targets of the department and actively contribute to the development of the departmental performance management system.
§ Oversee the development of the budget for Planning & Development to ensure that adequate provisions are made for all activities and those expenditures are controlled within the established budget.
§ Oversee the development of all guidelines, policies and procedures for master planning and development projects and ensure their alignment with the company’s objectives and targets.
§ Oversee and approve the design work for all of the company’s master planning, engineering and infrastructure undertakings to ensure compliance with the company’s project development goals and quality standards.
§ Oversee the review of all master plans and associated guidelines and approve any updates or amendments needed during the design process.
§ Oversee all activities related to the preparation of planning, design and technical documentation required from regulatory and government agencies to ensure that the company fulfils all necessary requirements.
§ Oversee the evaluation of master plan implementation for all infrastructure projects to ensure that the necessary modifications are made including all requirements for expansion of the utilities.
§ Oversee and define the specifications for planning and development and ensure that there is an appropriate pool of technical expertise in all fields relating to the master development planning and design process
§ Oversee and ensure the project control guidelines for managing the time, quality and cost of infrastructure development projects are developed, implemented and reviewed on a regular basis.
§ Oversee the development and the implementation of quality control systems and procedures to ensure that all on-site activities are carried out as per plan, budgets and time schedules.
