A. Strategy Formulation and Development of Policies and Procedures:
§ Develop the departmental strategy, policies and procedures in
alignment with overall business objectives and ensure their timely and accurate
implementation with minimal variance.
§ Establish the business targets of the department and actively
contribute to the development of the departmental performance management
system.
§ Provide recommendations to strategically enhance the financial
performance of the company and expand its business opportunities.
§ Provide strategic advice and financial guidance for business
development and new venture initiatives.
B. Financial Planning and Analysis:
§ Oversee the preparation, maintenance and analysis of regular
financial planning reports and monthly profit and loss forecasts to ensure the
development and communication of strategic and tactical recommendations.
§ Advise the CEO on the optimal financial structure to ensure
adequate funding for general corporate purposes, specific projects and
investments, based on sound financial analysis.
§ Advise the CEO on new acquisitions by conducting financial due
diligence to determine a true and fair price for the target acquisition.
C. Finance and Accounts:
§ Oversee the establishment and operation of a financial reporting
and analysis system that complies with national and international accounting
standards, government regulations and THE COMPANY’s standards, policies and
procedures.
§ Oversee the development and implementation of THE COMPANY’s tax and
treasury strategies; the efficient operation of the budgeting system; and the
efficient and accurate execution of accounts payable, accounts receivable and
other accounting transactions.
§ Oversee the continuous monitoring and control of expenditures
against the approved budget and reconcile the budget variances to ensure
on-target performance.
§ Oversee all the cash management, cash forecasting and cash
liquidity activities to ensure treasury operations support business cash needs,
maximize returns on surplus cash balances, mitigate all cash management risks
and comply with THE COMPANY’s policies and procedures.
§ Oversee and provide recommendations for changes to THE COMPANY’s
tax structure and develop the appropriate tax solutions.
§ Ensure the effective supervision and management of aged accounts
receivable in alignment with THE COMPANY’s standards and business strategy to
ensure outstanding receivables from all operations including land plot sales,
utilities billing and community billing are within established parameters.
D. Investor Relations:
§ Oversee the development and implementation of THE COMPANY’s
investor relations strategy and represent THE COMPANY to financial
institutions, financial partners, investors, and public officials etc. to
promote the company’s interests.
E. Corporate Governance:
§ Oversee the development and implementation of corporate governance
practices to improve corporate governance across the board of directors, the
different board committees, and THE COMPANY’s management.
F. Information Technology:
§ Oversee the development and implementation of all information technology and telecommunications operations, policies and procedures to ensure
the smooth operation of THE COMPANY’s systems and services.
