1· Plan, analyze, control and monitor financial information necessary to manage the country, ensuring compliance with the company policies and financial reporting requirements, in order to achieve the company strategic and financial objectives.
2· Manage the team organization and resources, comprising management and project accountants, to deliver the required business information.
3· Executive responsibility for the quality and timeliness of all financial reporting.
4· Inform, advise, alert Unit management regarding the financial performance of the Unit, including compliance with regulatory framework and the company policies, and propose corrective actions if necessary, to support the management team in achieving objectives.
5· Monitor financial aspects of projects (including risks and opportunities), to ensure cost control and optimize cash flows, and compliance with processes and procedures.
6· Perform a review of project bids prepared by the commercial team, particularly validating rates and other co-efficient, currency exchange, profitability and cash flows as per of Risk Management and mitigation.
7· Manage the human resources of the finance team, including performance appraisal, identification of training needs, recruitment interviews, etc, to ensure development of individuals, matching of human resources to the needs of the operations function, and succession planning and improve the running of the finance function and increase customer satisfaction
8· Implement performance and efficiency indicators to assess and improve the running of the finance function and increase customer satisfaction.
9· In conjunction with Director regularly review the working capital tied up by each project, and ensure that the trends are acceptable.
10· Review and proactive management of all finance-related export activities in line with the company policies.
