We are looking to recruit a qualified Senior Accountant to be based in our Cairo office, and be part of a growing finance team. This role reports to Chief Accountant and will be responsible for Plans, organizes, assigns, reviews, and evaluates the work of assigned professional and technical support staff, your job responsibilities will be including & not limited to:
* Prepare, as necessary, tax reports and analysis needed for the tax inspections
* Provides accounting assistance to business managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
* Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.
* Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
* Prepares and directs the preparation of a monthly financial statements and varied fiscal reports.
About you
As a Senior Accountant, you must demonstrate the following Qualifications, Skills & Experiences:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
* A degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
* SAP knowledge is an asset.
Minimum Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Job-Specific Skills:
* Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, V-Look-up, charts, graphs and macros).
* Strong experience in setting up and organizing database and spreadsheets.
* The ability to create / build sophisticated financial models is a must
* Knowledge of ERP is strongly preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Experience providing finance support to business operation functions coupled with strong analytical, problem solving, and excellent communication skills.
