The Production Planning
Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and expediting to ensure
timely production and shipment of customer orders. in order to make the correct
product and the correct time with the least amount of investment of raw
materials/finished goods.
Create and maintain
production schedules which balance finished goods inventories to target levels,
as well as issue production work orders to ensure inventory is available for
requested customer delivery dates.
Responsible for interfacing
between Production and Customer Service to ensure sales order requirements are
fulfilled.
To be a success, experience
in Production Planning/Inventory Control is needed. Hands on experience
in various software programs (Excel, MRP, ERP) is greatly desired.
The
position requires a hands-on Production Planning Manager who will excel under
pressure, is deadline driven while ensuring organization and accuracy
