Program: Prevention and Awareness program.
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Health Sector Manager (HSM), the Prevention & Awareness Dpt. Head will assist Ahl Masr Foundation in implementing and evaluating comprehensive primary prevention programs aimed at addressing risk and protective activities for Burn injuries/Fire accidents in addition to social determinants of Burn injuries/outcomes.
Job responsibilities include providing support to Burn Victims, Ahl Masr Foundation, other potential stakeholders, community and local coordinated community response teams to engage in strategic planning and program implementation and evaluation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiate, develop and execute program plans in coordination with the Health Sector Manager:
• Establish and implement programmatic goals and strategies for prevention initiatives, including NGO’s, schools in addition to other stakeholders.
• Initiates stakeholder analysis and targeting strategy for potential stakeholders.
• Initiate and maintain an open channel with probable partners and stakeholders.
• Budget proposals on a quarterly basis.
• Develop necessary educational/prevention material.
• Quarterly monitor & report program activities.
• Take active part in fundraising activities pertaining to prevention department.
• Evaluate program annually to report achievements and amend the program plans, as necessary.
• Utilize staff and volunteer resources in the successful execution of program plans.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure program plans effectively utilize financial and human resources and reflect the mission and vision of Ahl Masr.
• Develop staffing plans for the Prevention and Awareness Dpt.
• Other duties may be assigned.
