Legal Assistant Paralegal - PepsiCo

Accountabilities
- Complete and execute all admin assistant duties such as travel arrangements for entire legal team, powerpoint presentations, medical insurance, phone bills, drafting and preparing gall required documents and work as required.- Manage calendar and schedule of Sr. legal counsel and organize all team meetings and events as well as business meetings with other functions.- Manage and prepare for all visits by Region and Sector staff- Prepare required monthly highlights report for delivery to region including follow up with team for updates and new items.- Litigation Management - including tracking all reported litigation, communicating with external counsel to secure timely reporting; coordinating sharing of the relevant data with Control and management, and reporting internally within the Law Department.- Coordinating CU response to global/sector/regional legal inquiries- Assists Sr. legal counsel and other team members in preparing training material and training agenda and inviting audience and all arrangements for legal trainings such as FCPA, Anti-Trust, Legal awareness, etc.- Prepare quarterly counsel rep letters for Sr. legal counsel- Follow up on updating BAIC and pre-close material with external and internal lawyers on monthly basis.- Requesting and following up on all required reports from the legal team.- Preparing legal analyses and research required by Sr. Legal counsel for confidential and strategic issues.- Draft and review contracts in assistance of the corporate team as required by corporate legal manager.- Draft and prepare letters and communication to external parties from the company.- Assist the Government relations manager in setting up appointments and preparing letters to key government officials.- Follow up with outside counsel and finance on all matters related to invoices.- Prepare estimates of external and internal expenses and reporting same to Region on monthly basis.- Assist Sr. legal counsel in preparing and monitoring legal budget throughout the year.- Follow up on team for all T&E expenses and reporting same to Region.- Prepare first draft of bottler documentation, including Letter Amendments, AULs, Export Authorizations, Sales and Distribution Agreements, Pricing Letters, Concentrate Pricing and Marketing Support Agreements, - Manages and oversees documents executions by preparing execution drafts and coordinating with the business teams and Cork to ensure accurate document execution.- Coordinates and communicates legal advice to the HR, Operations, and Procurement teams as well as all other functions.- Prepare and arrange for the issuance of required corporate documents, including POA's, BOD resolutions, shareholder proxies and other corporate governance documents as required by the Corporate Manager.- Maintains records of corporate secretarial work done.- Manages central Law Department archives and documentation, office library, and electronic files.- Prepare and provide reports on legal matters for upward reporting within the Law Department.- Prepares policy communications and material for business team training sessions.- Assist Legal Counsel in any other matter as required



Job Dimensions
Legal paralegal support in respect of a geography comprising 3 COBOs represented in 6 legal entities in Egypt and Jordan. Moreover, the role includes providing technical support for all work undertaken by Sr. legal Counsel as well asCorporate team and litigation team in Egypt and Jordan.

Key Skills/Experience Required
- 4 year college degree- Paralegal certification/qualification or 3-5 years experience as a legal assistant- Excellent communication skills- Excellent document drafting skills- Self correspondence- Excell
