Social Media Executive

- Set up and optimize all company
pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social
content
- Build and execute social media
strategy through competitive research, platform determination,
benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Works with other departments to
develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad
campaigns, or other brand messages
- Develops engaging, creative,
innovative content for regularly scheduled posts (original text, images,
video or HTML) which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused
messages
- Contribute to the company website to
help drive traffic and engagement to the website
- Oversee design (ie: Facebook
Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter
profile, etc.)
- Design, create and manage promotions
and Social ad campaigns
- Engage with social media users and
respond to any mentions over social media channels
- Monitor online reviews and respond
to each review
- Audits and analyses social media
presences, including digital advertising costs and returns, compiling
reports for management showing results (ROI)
- Monitors and develops reports on
competitor activity within social media spaces and create competitor
analysis reports
- Identify threats and opportunities
in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats
to appropriate management
- Track social media influencers
- Keep up to date with any social
media trends
