The role of Head of Finance is based in Cairo HQ and reports to the CFO. The post holder will play a vital role in improving and maintaining the financial standing of the sector as they are responsible for providing financial advice and support to the Industrial Sector Head to enable them to make sound business decisions.
They are responsible for:
• Devising and monitoring the Sector’s Business plans and budgets;
• Advising on investment opportunities;
• Management and Financial reporting for the Sector
• Maintaining a sound control environment for the Sector.
Operating Environment Context
Wadi Group is comprised of 16 legal entities spanning 3 key sectors: Poultry, Agrifood, and Industrial with a combined annual turnover of c. $300m and c. 4000 staff across different sites. Poultry operations date back to 1984. Consolidated revenue has been growing at an average rate of c. 25% per annum since 1996.
The Company’s administrative offices are located in Mohandessin, Cairo and its operations along the Cairo-Alexandria on the 49th and 54th kilometer, Sadat City, Wadi El Natrun and Nubaria. The existing farms of the Company occupy over 5,600 acres of land, out of which over 5,000 acres are already planted with organic olive trees and grapevines
