- Risk assesses different activities in the locations, warehouses and sales.- Develops standard operating procedures & safe working practices in light of the company standards.- Administer material safety data sheet for all chemicals used in the facility.- Organize the site safety meetings and site senior tours- Implement schedule for site planned general inspection and key safe behavior observations.- Ensure compliance to all health and safety governmental requirements.- Ensure that all incidents and injuries are reported and lead the investigation in these accidents.- Develop & conduct safety training according to the annual training plan.- Administer all actions tracked on the action tracking system.- Prepare Logistics, distribution & transportation and sales personal protective equipment matrix and ensure its availability.- Develop emergency response plan and coordinate effective periodical drills.- Ensure all firefighting systems are maintained properly & ready for emergencies.- Implement work permit system.- Develop safety action teams.- Administer all actions tracked on the action tracking system.- Assess new hires in sales department for safe driving.- Train all new sales reps hires on defensive driving within one month of employment and ensure all new hires receive induction training.
- Engineering major degree, further safety studies is a plus.- Proficient with computer usage (Word, Excel & Power Point).- Possess leadership abilities to deal with all levels of responsibility.- Use analytical thinking approach in resolving problems.- Two years relative site experience in environmental health and safety.- Good in both spoken & written English & Arabic languages is required.
