• Manages the strategic aspects of large projects and mitigates any risk.
• Directs to lead area managers/ senior managers working on client engagements within different area/projects to ensure effectiveness.
• Manages resources and reviews high-level deliverables across division to ensure best utilization of company resources efficiently.
• Ensures engagement of quality assurance procedures in all aspect of projects/division engagements in order to achieve excellence.
• Understands the implications of different technical choices and is able to offer best solution.
• Develops and meets revenue and other financial goals.
• Reinforces team approach throughout practice both on client projects and internal initiatives.
• Directs the establishment of goals, major priorities, and advise in the development of strategies and resolution of major problems.
• Evaluate project performance against goals and take necessary action to address deviations.
• Direct the execution of studies, investigations, and analyses of technical issues for the Chairman and Authority Board, including reports of findings, corrective action recommendations and supporting research.
• Represent Authority at meetings and conferences.
• Plan, develop major rail transit projects.
• Understand, interpret, and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, budgets, contracts, and labor/management agreements.
• Analyze situations, identify problems, recommend solutions, and evaluate outcome.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Interact professionally with various levels of Authority employees and outside representatives.
• Supervise subordinate staff; exercise sound judgment and creativity in making decisions.
