Job Summary:
“Abni” Group KSA is seeking to recruit a professional Transportation Manager to manage the daily operation of the area terminals in accordance with established procedures and schedules.
The ideal candidate should have the experience in managing large numbers drivers and experience in hiring, training, motivating teammates, resolving employee issues and driving the key performance indicators for cost savings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operation of material terminals interfacing with terminal employees, sales personnel, material suppliers and sister companies as necessary.
* Ensure that transportation procedures and cost-effective solutions are applied and will drive profitability.
* Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the Transportation Department.
* Maintain fleet in a safe manner in accordance with company and governmental standards.
* Responsible for compliance & knowledge with Transportation regulations and other safety standards.
* Analyze and report equipment downtime, fuel, tire and other fleet costs.
* Continuously Provide additional assistance to projects and other branches.
* Responsible for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of trucks and other support vehicles to ensure the safe and economical usage of vehicles.
* Plan/develop and execute a vehicle and equipment replacement schedule.
* Develop and maintain a teamwork environment.
