1- القيام بعمليات استلام ومعايرة الاصناف المشتراة وايداعها مخازن الشركة وتسجيلها ضمن الارصدة المخزنية واحاطة المسئولين عن أي مخالفات او تجاوزات سواء في المواصفات او في الكميات.
2- تخصيص المساحات والاماكن التخزينية بالصلاحيات التي تتوافق مع خصائص الاصناف وطبيعة مكوناتها من حيث التهوية -الرطوبة -الحرارة - أشعة الشمس إلخ
3- تسهيل عمليات السحب من المخزون وفقا لمعدلاتها التشغيلية المعتادة والمتعارف عليها.
4- متابعة ارصدة المخازن بصفة دورية وتوضيح معدلات السحب ومدى توافقها مع الحدود التخزينية المسموح بها وافادة الجهات المختصة بالشراء عند الوصول الى الحد الادنى من المخزون او نقطة اعادة الطلب .
5- الاسراع بالوفاء باحتياجات الوحدات والتحقق من الاصناف المطلوبة ومواصفاتها ومطابقة التعليمات السائدة عند الصرف .
6- تصميم سجلات وقوائم الاصناف وفقا لدرجة التجانس والاستخدام بينها وترميزها لتسهيل التعامل عند طلبها واستلامهاو بما يمنع التداخل في المسميات او الازدواج او التعارض في اغراض الاستخدام
7- صيانة الاصناف ورقابتها بما يحقق فرص الاحتفاظ بخصائصها ومكوناتها .
8- اتخاذ احتياطات الامن المخزني ضد السرقة والحريق والتلف والتقادم إلخ
9- اضهار الاصناف الراكدة والتالفة والمتقادمة في كشف مخصص يحتوي سرد وتوصيف لتلك الاصناف وكمياتها ونوعيتها وتاريخ وجودها في المخزن واعلام الوحدات المسئولة للتصرف فيها واتخاذ القرارات اللازمة بشأن كل منها .
