-The position reports to the GM.
The position is part of the senior executive team and as such is involved in all management meetings with the general manager, financial manager, quality manager, human resources manager, supply chain manager.
Responsibilities:
1- Production:
To accomplish the required production through a team of production supervisors at the budgeted cost, perfect quality and while maintaining the highest safety standards.
2- People management
Recruit, train and maintain an excellent production staff, set annual quarterly and monthly goals for your team and review them on the same basis.
3- Visual manufacturing
Create and implement visual performance monitoring.
4- Preventive maintenance
Design and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure 96% equipment uptime.
5- Estimate budget
Estimate costs including man-hours and create budgets annually
