SUMMARY
Responsible for fostering the intellectual and social development of children in the first phase of their kindergarten stage. Provides the tools and the environment for students to develop into responsible adults and possibly move on to higher education.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach children in a classroom at the nursery at the kindergarten level.
• Plan, evaluate, and assign lessons.
• Prepare, administer, and grade tests, listen to oral presentations, and maintain classroom discipline.
• Introduce children to mathematics, language, science, and social studies.
• Use games, music, artwork, films, books and other tools to teach basic skills.
• Use play and hands-on teaching.
• Teach letter recognition, phonics, numbers, and awareness of nature and science.
• Maintain grade books.
• Grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.
• Create projects designed to enhance lectures.
• Read and stay abreast of current topics in education.
• Create lesson plans.
• Utilize various curriculum resources.
• Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
• Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.
• Develop incentives to keep participants in class.
• Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met.
• Tutor students on an individual basis.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Prepare and distribute required reports.
• Observe and evaluate student's performance.
• Creating new ideas for the kids.
• Explain the academic sheet for the kids.
• Carry out activities in line with the requirements of the early years of foundation stage.
• Organizing learning materials and resources and making imaginative use of resources.
• Developing work schemes and curriculum plans to motivate children and imaginatively using resources to help them to learn
• Develop the social and communication skills of children and provide a safe and secure environment in which the child can learn.
• Record observations and summarize the children's achievements. To focus on optimum child development and preparation for a successful transition to primary school education.
• Check the child bags every day.
• Monitor the child attitude & temperature.
• Motivating and stimulating children's learning abilities.
• Implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children.
• Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children can understand.
• Encouraging children's mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play.
• Working within a team, including teaching assistants and/or nannies to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors.
• Discuss children's development with parents regularly.
• Ensure children are supervised at all times.
• Provide daily reports to parents.
• Supervise nannies in everything & ensuring the health and safety of children.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures.
