COMMUNCIATION AND MEDIA RELATIONS OFFICER - Cairo, Egypt
Two Year Term Position with the Possibility of Renewal
Reporting to the Regional Director in Cairo, Egypt and in contact with the Director, Corporate Communications in Ottawa (Canada), your will act as a communications expert to increase the visibility of IDRC and its research partners in the Middle East and North Africa Region. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the regional communications plan associated with the Centre's communications strategy, organize communications and public relations activities, and develop communications products intended to share the results of research funded by IDRC. In addition, you will work in close collaboration with members of the Corporate Communications Division team in Ottawa to ensure consistent implementation of key elements of corporate strategic communication plan as well as to make them aware of regional communications issues and efforts.
Note: To be considered for this position, you must possess Egyptian citizenship or have a valid work permit to work in Egypt.
