Business Unit General Manager

 Ensure proper implementation of agreed on strategies/ tactics with sales team to achieve their target goals.
 Review with marketing team the defining, developing and implementing of annual /SEM marketing plans for assigned products and follow up on proper execution.
 Cascade Business unit objectives to all lines/marketing department; and reviews, evaluates and approves of the direct reports goals, in mid -year and year end evaluation.
 Keep the sales and marketing team focused on customer needs, analyzes market trends, understands how they affect the current and future business, and responds proactively to secure long-term business performance.
 Ensure full control over “Advertising and Promotion - A&P”, where spending should be aligned to the marketing strategy and to keep records of “Year to Date - YTD” expenses for area of direct responsibility
 Participate in the business review meeting and rollup forecast plan
 Provide input for maximizing value of pipeline products, including contributing to preparation of business cases for launch decisions and optimal sourcing decisions
 Review and approval of direct reports expenses and other administrative issues.
 Ensure implementation of Product priorities and closely manage the Business Unit product portfolio.
 Monitor market trends, sales & Rx performance, and takes corrective actions as required.
 Identifies and exploits new business opportunities.
 Lead, motivates and develops the correspondence team to deliver required performance according to the pre settled strategic objectives
 Allocate resources to different regions & centers for optimum results.
 Direct / monitor the organization of all pre-launch / launch activities for new products within the unit.
