The role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, installing and modifying web portals, web applications and websites (collectively “webs”), from layout to working code and according to business requirements. Strive to create efficient visually appealing webs that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
Specific Duties:
Develop, maintain and control the source of all enterprise assets including:
- Internet portals: for public or general consumption
- Intranet portals: for employee use
- Extranet portals: for managing external relationships with suppliers, partners, investors, shareholders, etc.
Liaise with the Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator to ensure all aforementioned assets are backed up regularly and perform tests to ensure the same.
Liaise with the Graphic Designer as required to obtain web ready graphic assets (JPGs, SVGs, PNGs, GIFs, etc.)
Liaise with Marketing and other business departments across the group as required to elicit business requirements and develop appropriate web solutions in an agile fashion
Perform other tasks or projects within your role as may be assigned from time to time your manager
