What will this job demand of you?
Are you a technical guru in enterprise software? Do you wake up everyday wanting to supporting customers’ business goals and solving complex business problems? In this role, you will gather customer requirements, design and develop new features and functionality for our products and estimate the efforts, design and implement assigned responsibilities in timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Software Development - Design and Implement new features based on specified requirements. Root cause analysis of bugs and implementation to fix them.
- Requirement Analysis - Document, analyze and estimate requirements based on customer needs.
- Process & Methodology - Work in an Agile process methodology environment and using developmet tools (examples - Subversion, JIRA, Confluence etc.) for managing the code base and issues related to a product.
- Communication - Conference calls with global team members, North America/ Europe sales and customer leadership and traveling onsite to client sites for requirements gathering and consulting engagements.
Required Skills
- Java or .Net, XML, HTML, Javascript, J2EE technologies, Webservices, REST
- Experienced with database and SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase, etc.)
- Experienced installing & configuring application servers (Weblogic, Websphere, Tomcat, JBoss, etc.)
- Comfortable using development tools like Subversion, ANT, Eclipse
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Quick learner and ability to prioritize, Team player, focused, result driven
- Ability to travel
Total compensation is US$20/hr for a full-time, 40-hour work week
This job is for you if you meet these minimum requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in the field
- team leadership experience
- BS / MS / MCA in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, both internally as well as externally with customers.
