· Proven track record of 4-6 years in a pre-sales technical role (solutions architect,
systems engineer, sales engineer, etc)
· Previous experience in a Pre-Sales role or a
similar role with a Vendor, Systems integrator, Enterprise or Service Provider
with current industry and competitor knowledge around our business solutions.
· Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing
effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as
directed by the sales manager/ business head.
· Proven ability to work from an office as well
as remotely in virtual teams with Account Managers, Post-Sales Support, Post-Sales
Consultants and all support functions
· Proactively scopes the technical solution/ POC required to
address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and
recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
· Maintains the latest training or knowledge transfer to the
assigned channels aligned with vendor objectives.
· Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed
throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to
potential risks of deal closure.
· Is responsible for the Vendor target for the Product in the Region.
· Solid experience and skills in developing and
delivering both technical and non-technical presentations up to and including
CXO level.
· Solid understanding of wired networks, including firewalls, content filters,
routing/switching, WLAN's, voice solution etc
· Excellent documentation and verbal
communication skills.
· Consultancy skills, combining the ability to
seek to understand customer issues and requirements whilst delivering solutions
that address these.
· Facilitation of design workshops
