Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Giving recommendations for merging of group/segmental companies
2. Implementing the merge of segmental companies of the group in cooperation with internal parties such as departments of legal & financial and external parties such as broker, auditors and governmental authorities
3. Identifying savings or cost of merge and giving advices accordingly
4. Cooperating with tax department to identifying tax effects of merges
5. Optimizing business resources across all group companies by recommending legal and/or business merges
6. Managing the Acquisition process by
a. Overseeing the Deal Sourcing Process from seeking potential target investments matching the Group’s strategies and business line, to sourcing out the deals and narrowing their selections
b. Screen the transactions, make deep industry & financial analysis, determine the feasibility and prepare the financial KPI for the transactions’ pipeline
c. Conducting the Business and Financial Valuation from
i. Contacting the target company,
ii. Lead the negotiations with the target company
iii. Preparing required data and documentation,
iv. Preparing a proper and comprehensive financial valuation with different techniques to determine the range of business value
7. Responsible for identifying, analyzing and developing new business opportunities
8. Identify potential investment needs and create integrated solutions, resulting in revenue growth and financial profitability.
9. Generate and execute a variety of M&A transactions, from initial pitches to transaction closings.
10. Collaborate internally and cross sell additional Group product and services.
11. Communicating regularly with financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide decision-makers in corporate finance transactions.
12. Researching market conditions and developments
13. Devising M&A strategies, identifying sectors and groupings of companies that might be viable business targets
14. Conducting investigations into the financial and commercial state of companies subject to a particular transaction
15. Managing the implementation of a M&A proposition
16. Analyze risks associated with new business opportunities while maximizing revenue
17. Supporting/qualifying Due Diligence and then drive M&A cross-functional integration or divestiture
18. Responsible for investment and divestment decisions across the entire Group’s Funds and is consulted at all critical stages of a transaction.
19. Responsible for the commercial and operational evaluation of new investment opportunities as well as the sustainable post-investment value creation alongside the investment teams and actively involved in driving the growth agenda and ensuring profitability for the Group.
Experience:
a. Merger & Acquisition (at least 15 years of previous experience with proven successful record in both local & Int’l Market)
b. Experience in investing in public and private companies and has previously led investment strategies resulting in notable private equity transactions across local and global growth markets.
