To monitor the organization’s salary structure and benefits, balancing cost control with the need to attract and retain staff
To design the basic compensation structures in the organization (Grading system, job evaluation system, promotion system, etc) aligned with the corporate culture and the corporate values.
• To coordinate compensation processes like the salary planning, bonus planning and incentive schemes development.
• To administer, direct, and review employee benefit programs to increase the quality of life for employees, by researching benefits issues.
• To design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.
• To make recommendations on changes to pension and insurance schemes.
• To analyze compensation policies and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan.
• To plan, conduct, and participate in selected salary surveys, both locally and nationally and analyze the surveys to determine market competitiveness.
• To prepare detailed classification systems and define job levels and families, in partnership with other managers.
• To prepare budgets for personnel operations.
• To plan, develop, publish, distribute, explain, and interpret the Staff Compensation and Classification Plan including procedures for promotion, demotion, transfer, and salary/wage schedules.
• To provide advice to management and staff on compensation issues.
