OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Manage the Production daily work and lead production Team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinates with the factory factory Manager to clearly understand the production plan as to the stock-keeping unit to be produced, the number of batches, the batch size, and the required completion date.
2. Assures that the process operators,machine operators, inspector-packers, and packers are performing their duties and responsibilities correctly and diligently
3. Controls the performance of the processing and the lines by establishing and implementing the proper performance measures, taking corrective action as needed, and seeking advice and assistance from management and other units; ensures up-to-date line diary sheets and records are maintained; controls product quality as influenced by process, filling levels, general product appearance and keeps reject /scarp level to a minimum .
4. Organizes the process and the lines to include proper manning assignments, filling speeds, timing and sequences of processing and filling, check the use of duly approved components; liaises with quality and warehouse as warranted.
5. Ensure and maintains and observes up-to-date rules and regulations pertaining to HACCP, HYGIENE, GMP, CIP are restrictedly by all production stuff (including all the people inside production areas) according to the quality systems of the company.
6. Maintains and observes up-to-date rules and regulations pertaining to safety, health and environment (SHE) program company
7. Ensures all the machinery and equipment in the process and the lines are operated in a safe manner, kept in good condition by observing good housekeeping standards, maintained properly by the operators and technicians;liaises with maintenance accordingly.
8. Ensures non-stop continues run and implementing rotation of the crew to increase skills and multi-tasking.
9. Monitors and controls the use of proper dressing by his staff and that HACP, HYGIENE,GMP,CIP and safety rules and regulations are observed and respected in the process /lines.
10. Performs assigned tasks in HACCP, HYGIENE, GMP, CIP and the SHE programs of the company.
11. Trains the personnel in his unit to meet at least the minimum operational requirements of their position and to develop them for position of higher responsibilities and skills including HACCP, HYGIENE, GMP and CIP.
12. Provide recommendation on how to improve production efficiency that may lead to increase in productivity.
13. Commitment towards HACCP, HYGIENE, GMP, SHE local and global corporate regulations &requirements is a main responsibility within function.
14. Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality.
15. Keep records of workers performance.
16. Develop production schedule for the execution of projects in a timely manner.
17. Ensure that work materials are present as at when needed.
