RANDSTAD MENA is seeking an experienced MARKET DEVELOPMENT MANAGER on behalf of a major client. This job will be based in Egypt.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify potentials and translate them into business opportunities through deep value chain analysis of existing and emerging industries, bring a clear & structured approach.- Actively use internal and external networks to transform these opportunities to a business case and follow-through towards new business creation.- Establish Local Industry Network team(s) with sales force; act as a "competence hub" possessing a deep understanding of the focused industries.- Advocate, pull and enable industry solutions by maintaining active relationships with decision makers and influencers via associations, authorities, and institutions.- Provide forward-looking and additional business oriented inputs for Regional Business Unit Strategic Dialogues- Align with company Middle East strategy and supporting roll-out- Monitor industry specific trends and drivers and proactively investigate and propose additional business opportunities- Design customer/competitors concepts and strict follow up of country regulations affecting related sectors- Contributing toward maintaining the long-term competitiveness of the Group- Take ownership for results, overcome obstacles and drive change.
Qualification & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical/Process Engineering. Non-engineering degree holders must have relevant chemical industry experience.- Minimum 7 years work experience in industrial Sales/Marketing or Market Development or Network Development- Familiarity with one or more of industries (i.e. Construction/Consumer Goods/Packaging/Energy & Resources).- Experience with local industry regulatory authorities, government bodies, associations is a plus.- Excellent level of spoken and written English.- Strong impact & interpersonal competences, able to communicate across the organization with various functions and levels.- Emphatic, resilient and determined for achieving peers' commitment in long-term objectives.- Strong commercial and market orientation- Innovative and creative mind set for challenging routines with out-of-the box thinking- Project Management Skills- Strategic thinking and strong team leader in an international environment.
